Ingredients:
2 c Celery Sliced Diagonally ¾ c Onion Sliced Thin Rings 2 tbsp Oil 3 c Green Beans Chopped (or combo of veggies like broccoli and cauliflower) ¼ c Lightly Roasted Peanuts (or sub with cashews) 3 c Thinly Sliced Green Cabbage
Sauce:
¾ c Water 1 tbsp Arrowroot Flour 5 tbsp Tamari (or gluten-free Tamari) 1 tsp Garlic Powder ½ tsp Mustard Powder ½ tsp Ginger Powder 1 tbsp Maple Syrup 1 tbsp Brewers Yeast ¼ Bouillon Cube 2 pinches Red Pepper
Directions:
1) In a large frying pan, add oil, onions, and celery. Cover and cook over a medium/low heat for 12 minutes. 2) Add green beans/vegetable and peanuts and cook covered until celery is tender/crisp. Careful not to over cook! 3) Add sliced green cabbage and cook 1 minute uncovered. 4) In a bowl combine all ingredients for sauce and stir with a whisk until combined. 5) Pour sauce over vegetables.
Goes great over rice or pasta!
