Serves 3
Ingredients:
1 Firm Tofu 1 tbsp Tamari 1 tbsp Oil 1/4 Bouillon Cube
Salad: 1 c Chopped Celery 2 c Green Cabbage Thinly Sliced 1 c Shredded Carrot 3 Scallions (or 4 slices Red Onion) 12 Basil Leaves 3 tbsp Chopped Mint Leaves (4 sprigs) 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds 2 tsp Agave 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Salt
Sauce: 1 tbsp Agave 1/2 c Tahini 2 tbsp Tamari 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper 2 tbsp Oil 2 tbsp Water
Directions:
1) Cut tofu horizontally in half. Then cut into long thin slices. 2) Pan fry tofu with oil, tamari, and bouillon cube.
3) Add in a sauce pan all the ingredients for the sauce. Cook over low heat.
4) Mix veggies/herbs in a bowl. Toss in sesame seeds, agave, vinegar, and salt.
5) Take a wrap of choice (whole wheat, corn, gluten-free, etc). Lightly coat the bottom with sauce. Add tofu. Add salad. Drizzle sauce on top. Fold. Smile! You’re finished 🙂 Enjoy!
